"I feel no need to express my emotions or interpretation to
the viewer, I wish only to present the observer with situations that they may assess for
themselves. This manifests itself in the style, rather than an expressionistic painterly
way. By abstracting images already to be found through out life, I step further away from
the 'reflected' contact with the observer. The chosen images are arbitrary within a certain

SEX

RELIGION
"Sorry, but I have looked deeply into this
subject and I do not believe in all that tosh. Why do others believe?
Desperation, fear, gullibility, neurosis or just politics. I was brought
up by agnostic CofE parents and wandered off into religion on my own
exploration. We have a Blasphemy Law in the UK that prevents me from
really examining the lies and bullshit I was fed at school, from those
above and by the clerics.
All nations signed up to an agreement to teach
the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights at school, a
remarkable piece of optimism but what did we get? We got the Bible! I have
read it and it is disgusting, an attack on the human spirit.
When you are an Atheist. like myself, then you
realise just what censorship non-believers are subject too. Someone has
something to hide and that is the probability that God just does not
exist. It is as rare to hear this subject discussed in the media as it is
to hear a proper debate on Republicanism."

"I put this thought before you: You cannot
draw the main high street of the town/city you live in. You are unable to
draw your children if they are wearing designer clothing (do not try to
draw them naked either!). You are unable to draw the room you are in. Junk
Mail falls through your letter box, advertisements and programmes are fed
to you, thrust before your eyes but you cannot comment on them. Even the
interaction between the society that you live in and your own personal
life. Logo's and Trade Marks are owned (you do not own the video, you own
the tape but do not try to draw the box) and although virtually every
minute of your awakened life they intrude and you cannot draw them.
Disney have sued Artists (Mind you, they did not
sue the US Army that had the Mickey Mouse on the side of the tank that the
artist painted!).
